Police officer reunites a lost dog with her owner in Louisiana

Thanks to the actions of a stranger who saw a flier in St. Bernard Parish in Louisiana to report the robbery of a 17 year old toy poodle who answers to the name Fannie Mae who inside an auto that was stolen in Chalmette on Monday June 9 by a thief who was captured by the deputies of the St. Bernard Sheriff's Office (SBSO) on Wednesday June 11.
Fannie Mae who is partially blind and totally deaf was returned by the deputies to her owner where police captain Ryan Melerine met with the good stranger to receive his reward for returning the dog safely.
Fannie Mae was found in the Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood as the alleged thief left the dog by herself.

I always like a feel good story and this is certainly one. So pleased that the dog was found and returned.

No point shouting at the dog..
So it wouldn't come to you if you shouted it's name
You could shout " Fannie Mae"
But we know Fannie Wont
