You forgot to come and get my clothes to wash them.... Now, I'll have to wash them... How mean of you to make me do my own laundry. (I'm not out of clean clothes yet. ) I hope you all have a good day.

I have a third load in the washer. It probably won't get dry today but it can stay on the airer overnight. If we've had the heater on in the lounge, that is usually enough to finish off drying the last load.

Laundry day always feels like a mini battle, doesn’t it? You were already at it by 6 a.m.—that’s real early-bird energy! By now, the second load’s almost done and the first is basking under the sun like it’s on vacation. Skipping the dryer was a smart move. That clear sky and hot sun are working overtime for free! And now here you are, laptop open, squeezing in a little MyLot time while the washer hums in the background. It’s those in-between moments that feel the most satisfying—like you’ve earned a breather. There’s something oddly comforting about getting things done while life moves quietly in the background.

I cleaned our room last Monday, can you believe it - I started at 3 PM and then I stopped cleaning at 1 AM! And I still have one corner to finish and a shelf to clean up. I hope I can finish them tomorrow.
