A bunch of bananas from our garden

We have a few banana plants but it has been a long long time that they yielded This bunch came up after a long time and for a bunch to mature it takes month.
Finally it did mature but with the weight it was hanging outside the compound with just a few leaves hiding it
Since there was no household help to cut it down it was there for many days and luckily no passerby noticed.
When the nuns visited us the other day they willingly offered to cut it down for us.
It is now hanging in the room and will ripen may be slowly week after week

They are known as butter bananas tiny in size and very sweet.

@allknowing - It's very hard to work on the site this morning.
I had those tiny bananas in the Cayman Island, the tree was in the garden of the room we rented.

We leave bananas to ripen in a bowl in our living room window
It gets good light and green bananas become yellow and ready to eat in a few days

We hang them inside a room and there they get ripened a few at a time.

Yes they do. But once they start the whole lot is there to consume and that is when I plan on making banana halwa
