For a while now we have been aware that there are wasps coming into the house....they are coming in we think through a vent in an upstairs built in wardrobe. It got quite bad so we have had to call in the professionals ......du du durrrrr ! As I type we are awaiting a man to come and hopefully get rid of the blighters. It happens to be in the room where I am sleeping....I am at my Moms during the week at the moment. Last night I caught 8 of them....this morning when I woke there were more. Fingers crossed they are gone gone gone today.

Good luck! I'm allergic to wasp/hornet/bee stings. I was hospitalized a few years ago when several of them stung me. I was mowing our yard and got swarmed. That was so much fun!

My Dad was allergic to bee/wasp stings too. There were several visits to the hospital.

@Traceyjayne My doctor makes sure I have plenty of epi-pens now... I came too close to dying when they swarmed me. Pretty got stung by one hornet three times... She's not as allergic as I am but she still had problems, too.

@DaddyEvil yes epi pens are great aren't they . I have regular first aid training because of my job so I would have felt comfortable using that on him , but he was in the medics in the army and was able to use it himself with confidence. People don't understand just how serious it can be if you are allergic to the stings.

Have the wasps built a nest that looks like a paper lantern. You are lucky that you have not been badly stung. Hope that the wasps are removed today. Good luck

It's bad enough when they are buzzing around outside, but worse if they ever get in the house. I hate those damn things.
