I'm Going to See a Doctor Tomorrow

United States

This fatigue has lasted way too long since my trip. And hubby has it too. I can't even describe how exhausted we are. We don't seem to have our cold/sinus symptoms any longer but are just incredibly tired. My primary care doctor is semi-retired even though she's young, so I couldn't get in to see her until October -- she was booked. I knew that I was eventually going to have to find a new primary care doctor and so I had heard about this one near me that's a nurse practitioner and her schedule was open for tomorrow so I got an appointment. I'll see if I like her and consider her as a replacement for my primary doctor. Someone suggested I could be tired due to mono. Don't know how they test for that. A kind compassionate myLotter private messaged me about a medication you can take when travelling to stay well. I'm checking that out.

I hope you feel better soon. Extreme fatigue is just miserable.

Has your home been checked for carbon monoxide? I am not sure of the test for mono either, but at one point I sure thought I needed that test. Did not get it.

Or Covid? I hope the doctor can find out what's wrong with you and your hubby.

I hope you can get some answers. I hate feeling tired, and hope it's nothing serious.

Most of the good doctors have to be booked months ahead in the US. Thankfully, that's not the case here in my place.

Not here. I can get into my primary care the very next day. It’s usually specialists like a cardiologist that might take months. Unless you’re an emergency case in which they’ll see you much sooner.

That's weird, my parents were having those symptoms too, but I was just chalking it up to their age. Maybe there is a certain virus like that going around.

I had something similar many years back. I don't know what I did, but it faded away. Hope you find a cure soon
