Met My Sister - June 16th

Hello everyone, how are you all doing?
Today I met my sister. Well, half sister technically. We have the same "father". I say it that way because he was not in either of our lives. I don't know how he treated her mother, and I don't fully know what happened between him and my mom. I just know he was never in our lives.
I didn't even know she existed till earlier this year. Her oldest daughter actually contacting me asking if he was my father and if so I had family I never knew existed. Since then I have been talking with my half sister and we decided to meet up to go to the Circus - that will be happening Wednesday. Today we met up so she could give me the free pass for Eli to get in to the Circus.
Was very interesting, how do you act around a sister you never knew existed? We'll spend more time together this summer I am sure too...not just now and the circus.

@LindaOHio Well she was more interested in her friends that she invited. Kinda wish she hadn't invited them, especially with it being one of our first times hanging out. But just didn't go well, and then she didn't even say bye and left before we even got up to leave the stands. No message later on either...

I have no idea how I would act around a half sibling that I never knew I had.
Now did you get on with her today?
Did it feel like a sisters meeting?

@AmbiePam It is what it is I suppose. Just when you get invited to spend time with someone you shouldn't just be ignored the whole time, and not even said goodbye to. Just my opinion, but maybe I am wrong.

Possibly never. Our "father" has passed away....and my mother knew nothing about him having another kid, that I know anyway.
