Since I am not sleeping well at night at the moment, I do sometimes haved a nap in the afternoon. I don't go back up to bed though I just have a doze on the setee.
I remember the older generation in my family saying that they always had a nap in the afternoon....it got me wondering is it still a regular thing that people do .....or are people too busy for a nap these days !

Yes, I need my 30 minute (or hour!) nap after lunch about 2 or 3pm.

Since I can't sleep again in the evening, I am sleeping during the morning and afternoon.
Sometimes I sleep from 4 AM to 8 AM or I sleep at 1 AM and wake up at 2 PM.

I usually take a nap in the middle of the afternoon. It helps recharge my battery

I can nap unexpectedly if I had not enough of sleep hours and if the weather here is sunny hot or rainy cold in the afternoon on my own chair.

I take naps at different times of the day and night. I only sleep two to four hours at a time and then get up for a bathroom break. I usually come to myLot and see what's going on and visit with various friends and then take another short nap... Eventually, I do get between six and eight hours of sleep in a day.
While I was still working, I started taking half an hour nap at lunch time. I got 1 hour for lunch... I'd eat and read for half an hour and then put my head down and sleep until my alarm went off to go back to work.
