Nathan and Landon, our grandsons are here for the day. They're outside helping Papa with a couple of chores.
I wish they could help dig potatoes, but too much rain lately. Dale had a doctor's follow-up appointment yesterday and we got detoured several times with flooded roads that were closed.
Grilling burgers later and we still have some chocolate pie from Sunday. I'll cook French fries and fried squash.

@1creekgirl he usually does a spaghetti bolognaise or meatballs in a wrap or with salad. He has promised us cake but we are still waiting for that . lol

Sounds wonderful, and after that work they will have built up an appetite. Sis, bro in law and one of their sons put up a new pole and reseated the mailbox while they were up there.

Enjoy your visit with your grandsons. My day is always brighter when any of the grandkids visit.
We've had rain every day for days now but thankfully nothing that has caused flooding. Day after day of rain, though, is depressing.
Since today is yes, another day of rain, I'll be spending my afternoon reading or watching something on tv.
