Received my contract for next year

We normally get electronic contracts in May but the BOE and union were still negotiating an agreement for the next 5 years. I just checked my email to see if I had any nastygrams from parents pissed that their kid failed for the year. Nothing. There was an email informing me that the contract was available on the staff portal though to sign. I went through the powerpoint summary sent out by the union several times but somewhere along the way I got confused and thought I was getting an additional $1000 in longevity pay next year. Apparently not. I texted my work BFF and she said what was in the document sent to me was correct. I will have to get her to explain it tomorrow because I'm not sure where I went wrong. Still I cannot complain with what next year's salary will be. That plus tutoring and class coverages will have me in a very nice place.
