Midnight Rain.

When the world is quiet at midnight, when everyone here are lost in dreams, the soft patter of rain on roofs wakes me up. It is not heavy downpour and the rain isn’t loud—it’s more like a lullaby and somehow healing. A few minutes of listening and checking if there is a leak, good there's none then I go back to my sleep.
I'm glad it rained, it bring the temperature down this morning.

You could go out and stand in the rain... That will bring your temperature down...

One good thing about rain in an area is that the extreme heat does goes down.
