Firefighters in Waco Texas answered an emergency call on Thursday morning June 12 that one cat, three males and one female who were trapped underneath a bridge neat an encampment that had been flooded due to rain. The firefighters gave the homeless persons lifejackets and used a rope to rescue them from likely losing their lives in the floodwater underneath the bridge on Franklin Avenue near a Wal Mart store. In my opinion the firefighters did an excellent job saving the lives of the cat and the four persons as their of their duty to save lives and serve their community. They were lucky to be rescued. I guess they didn't think about the area flooding.

Apparently the homeless persons were caught by surprise by the rain under the bridge.

Homeless people can get themselves into a lot of trouble sometimes, and it was good that they were rescued from their predicament here.
