Our garden is unrecognizable with coconut fronds by the load fallen all over the place - some rotting due to rain. It is a tough job. Once the fronds are all collected the garden has to be swept and made it slippery free Algae is all over. All this will take atleast 3 days For the algae we will have to use some bleaching powder and the gardener will have to scrub it all away The Internet is on for a while and I may as well make use of it and write this post.

Have you ever thought to buy a pressure washer to use to remove those algae. They are not expensive and they work so well and perfect also to "scrub" the path.

That is done once a year when the roof also gets pressure washed We have people doing that for us We do not need to keep this with us and what our gardener does is a bit of algae spread here and there. We also use bleaching powder

@allknowing I see, I had bought a pressure washer, those are not expensive, I used it to clean the pathway and the inside of the pond, every two to three months in summer. In winter it was not necessary.

It will take lot of efforts to clean the path. We all have the same issue in rainy season have to clean again n again to make sure no water storage.

Damp conditions do make all those slippery algae grow!
