No thank you Mr taxi driver ...

At the moment I am having to use taxis often to go to hospital appointments. We use the same taxi firm each time and it is a firm that we have used over several years.
I had reason to ring and complain about a driver today and request that we are not sent him again.
Two weeks ago he picked us up from the hospital and I explained my problem and asked him to drive carefully. He found EVERY bump in the road and indeed went a way no other driver had been at all. When I mentioned it he said " do you want me to call air ambulance for you "...which I felt was very rude.
Last week he picked us up from home and drove so fast it was dangerous. On arrival at the hospital he stopped across two empty spaces and would not move even when I pointed out that it meant my 87 year old Mom had to get out of the car into on coming traffic. I said it was not acceptable and he replied " thank you "
Todays drivers were lovely.

I agree, that was very rude of him... I don't blame you for not wanting to ride with him again.
We don't have taxis or ride sharing where I live... They do have both in big cities but I've never used them. I've always had my own car and drive where ever we need to go. I never liked riding with someone else driving. Other people make me nervous when they drive.

I don't drive and couldn't at the moment anyway and my Mom is 87 and doesn't drive in the centre of the busy town where the hospital is. My partner is away working Monday to Friday. A neighbour helps with the driving sometimes but it's tricky as we never know how long we will be.
I doubt he will be spoken to but I felt it right to report him.

@Traceyjayne You might be surprised... But, at the least, I hope they marked it down that you don't want rides with him anymore.

@DaddyEvil I hope so. I won't be getting into his car again even if they do send him.

That was one rude taxi driver. I hope he was disciplined in some way.

Just now
The air ambulance comment sounds quite funny lol
But you must admit our roads are full of potholes and it is infact quite a dangerous thing to try and avoid them
Maybe he did do it on purpose, maybe not.
I doubt he would , because the potential costs of repairing damage caused by potholes is considerable
I hope though that you do not get this particular driver again.
Maybe his employers will " educate " him on how better to be sarcastic.
