There is a lady on social media who has a bar in a town centre. She knows it is an area that you have to get permission from the council before you make any changes.
She made a sign for outside the bar herself....she said that she had spoken to the council and had followed their guide lines. The council then said they had to approve the sign and a professional signwriter had to be used. They did say that the council would pay most of the costs.
She moaned on social media
Today she says that the council have told her to remove the cctv system that she has put up outside the bar .
She did not say that she had spoken to the council about that so I am assuming that she had not.
She moaned on social media
My thoughts are ....if you know that you have to check with the council about everything .....then that is what you do !!!
It is no use moaning on social media

Some people don't like following rules other people have set, no matter what it pertains to...
At our last house, I put up thumbnail cameras to watch all around my property... Nobody even knew they were there until my nephew (a police officer in our town) asked if he could borrow the footage from one camera. (That camera watches the intersection by that house but it also sees across the streets at all three of the other houses on that corner.) I let him copy the information from that camera. Then the police made a raid at the house cattycorner to us because the camera could see they were growing pot in their fenced in back yard.
During the court proceedings, the police had to say where they got the footage of the plants in that yard from... After court was over, those people tried to sue me for invading their privacy... Unfortunately for them, our city doesn't have any laws about cameras filming on private property... Anything the camera can see from my rooftop was fair game.
Those people moved not long after losing the lawsuit and paying my legal bills.

@Traceyjayne Nope... I only check the cameras if something happens on my property. The older couple that live beside us now are nice but nosy... They asked me to leave my yard lights on so they could keep watch all around the neighborhood. They didn't want me to install my cameras here... I told them I wouldn't but I did anyway.
Again, I only look if something happens...

@DaddyEvil I don't think it matters if you only look when something happens....and they only have your word for that .....neighbours lives are being recorded ... spying.

She will have far less trouble if she would just follow the rules and regulations. They're all there for a purpose.

That's what I think ....I don't think she is helping herself very much by telling people she is doing these things when she, we and the council know that she should not be doing them !

This lady certainly does ....I think being on social media has gone to her head a bit....I know that sounds mean but we all have to follow the rules.
