Durango police officer captures a kangaroo that ran away from home.

Police officers in Durango Colorado on Monday May 19 answered an emergency call about a kangaroo that gained fame in Durango on October 2024 by running away from home and was captured by the police back then and returned to its owner. The same kangaroo was caught by the police in Durango on Monday in the backyard of a resident's home when the kangaroo was captured by the police again Link is upi.com/8291747838853 via @upi

I mean it's not every day a Kangaroo would be running about loose in Colorado. Must have been quite a sight. I am.glad that the police captured it.

I read where kangaroos are more dangerous than you think. If I remember the article I read correctly, some guy came across one and the kangaroo started slapping him around. I'm not sure how badly injured the guy was.

Even though my knowledge of kangaroos come from cartoons, I have read stories of kangaroos beating up humans in fights.

It seems as if the owner did nothing more to pen his kangaroo in. I hope the Police talked sternly to them about wasting their time, chasing their escaped kangaroo.

That is what I am thinking that kangaroos like their freedom and not be inside a farm or home.
