Even though I do not always agree with the views of television news reporters, when a news crew in Portland Oregon that was covering the Rowena Fire saw am injured male kitten that was on the front porch of a house that had been burned in need of assistance.
The news crew of Portland Oregon KGW took the time to take the injured kitten that had burns on his face and paws to a local veterinarian to be taken care of and he will hopefully make a full recovery.
The male cat is being called "Rowena"

Yes since it is odd for male animals to be named with female names sometimes.

That is true that being burned is severe.

It was good that they went out of their way to rescue a poor animal such as this, a victim of the fire.

it sounds weird to name a male cat after a female.
