And breezy. So I won't be doing much outside unless it clears up today. But the house does need attention. 
I do need to get my UV light placed it the pond today if I can. I decided to try one for keeping the water clear. Many have very good reviews. I hope it works.

I've never heard of a light to keep the water clear. I hope that works.
When we had a pond, I put in a pump to send the water back up to a waterfall and then it followed a streambed down to the pond again. We had different kinds of small-ish fish in it and they kept the water clear... It was fun feeding them in the evening while we sat in chairs along the bank... (That was with first wife years ago.)

I don't remember us having trouble with algae when we had the waterfall to stream to pond but I could be misremembering that. I don't remember every needing to clean it out. We did shut it off during the winter so the pump wouldn't freeze and break.

I went searching for ways to do it and found that. Then searched on Amazon and seen many good reviews. So I am hoping.
The streambed would help keep the algae out. That's what I have trouble with. Especially in the spring when I don't want to play in cold water. I use barley straw to help break up the other stuff like fish poo
