Mysterious light over Arizona was likely from a rocket launched in China

Astronomer Tony Phillips is calming down persons in Arizona and other states nearby when a bright light that was seen in the sky on Friday night May 16 came from a rocket launch in China.
The concerns from persons who witnessed the beam of light was it may have unidentified flying objects (UFO) or energized particles turned out to be a false alarm and no one has to fear that persons who saw the beams of light as an invasion from outer space.

I think it would have been less scary if it had been a UFO.
China launching anything is quite scary
Especially if it goes wrong after launch.
It could land anywhere

I know what you mean if I saw a streak of light visible in the sky at night in the Lake Charles area would be seen by anyone would be scary.
