Saturday's Happenings and Dinner!

I didn't do a whole lot after the early morning errands today. I did feel all the animals and then got out in the garden for a few minutes and pulled weeds up. After that I dug up 5 pecan seedlings and set them aside to plant later today. It was hot and I went inside to rest and get some water. I'm trying to save some pecan tree seedings this year, since I didn't get many of those last year at all. I ended up forgetting about planting them until 5:30 pm. I went out and got them all potted and made it back inside just in time for the College World Series baseball game with LSU and Coastal Carolina playing. I put on some eggs to boil and fixed deviled eggs to munch on during the game in between innings. It was a good game and LSU came out on top with a final score of 1-0. They will play Coastal Carolina again on Sunday at 1 pm CST. After the game, I realized that I did not water the pecan seedlings so went back outside to do that. Dinner tonight was a sandwich, which my hubby made since he is not much of a sports fan. He chose pickle loaf sandwiches, which was fine with me. How was your Saturday?
