Spotted this little "castle" in the middle of the sea while walking by the beach uesterday. It looked like something straight out of a fairy tale, just sitting there all alone, like it’s guarding a secret or waiting for a mermaid to return. The calm water and soft waves made it even more surreal. As much as we would like to see it up close and personal, we need to rent a boat to go there. And according to the boatman, the castle was made on top of the rocks there.
Ever seen something like this? Made me wonder who built it and why.

Good morning Raquel.
Hope this finds you well on this start of the week Monday morning.
That " castle" on the wee island does look cool.
If I was there and I was 30 years younger I would have had a swim and gone and seen it.
Now, as for seeing anything like it you might be surprised.
This is the ruins of McDermotts Castle on a Loch in Ireland

It sounds like a scene from a storybook—such a magical sight! It's incredible how some locations, particularly those encircled by mystery and nature, can pique our interest. Perhaps it is a hermit's retreat, a lover's secret hideout, or a forgotten watchtower, but a lone "castle" in the middle of the sea seems to have a story to tell.
It's made even more interesting by the fact that it's constructed on natural rocks. Was it a place for fishermen to stay? A project driven by passion? Or something that the locals consider sacred?
Although I haven't seen one like that myself, your description makes me want to see one. Sometimes these obscure locations serve as a reminder of the wealth of history and wonder that can be found subtly in the most unlikely locations across the globe.
I would love to hear what you find out firsthand if you ever have the opportunity to return by boat. Perhaps you will discover its story, or at least write your own.

No, I've never seen anything like that. It might have been interesting to go and look closer at it, though.
