Is America a Jewish Nation?

When I was reading the novel “Lonesome Dove” by Lurry Mc Murty pictured in my mind the old America with the Native Americans, whom according to the Novel were spread all over the plains and hilly countryside of North America and Texan Rangers would find it difficult to deal with them. The novel created inside me desire to study the current Americans vs the Native Americans. I crawled across may blogs and was startled by a couple of them that alleged “Current Americans” are mainly of British and Jewish ancestry. “…most of them are Jews, and this explains why the US always defends Israel in the Middle East conflicts.” An article read in part. This makes me wonder if truly, the US is a Jewish Nation!

We do have a lot of people who have British ancestry in the US but only 5.8 million adults are of Jewish ancestry out of a total of 258.3 million adults in this country according to the PEW Research Center. And while that does give the US the second largest Jewish population in the world, by no means are "most of them" Jews. Edit to add: There are a lot of Americans now who go around saying things like: "I'm German-American." or "I'm Irish-American." but mostly we're just Americans, in my experience.

No, we are not a Jewish nation at all though that would be perfectly fine if we were. People think we defend them and therefore must be, but they are a country and people constantly picked on. Terrorists are on every side of them. We’re not a Jewish nation, but I am glad to defend them. And shame to the racist Americans who are hateful against those of Jewish ancestry. I ended a friendship over that.

No, America is not a Jewish nation. The United States is a nation with a diverse population, people coming from many different countries. Only 2.4% of the U.S. population identifies as Jewish.

Oh well Let's see The obvious answer is no, America is not a Jewish nation I think the reasons behind America always defending Israel are slightly more complicated. Let's see how strong that support remains if a full scale war breaks out and body bags containing the bodies of American military personnel start getting shipped back to America , and Americans watch on as their loved ones are killed fighting defending a rogue Israeli state. There have been many times over the period since Hamas carried out the barbaric attacks on Israeli soil, that America could have done more within the UN by telling Netanyahu that enough is enough and it has to stop. Israel are no longer defending themselves against Hamas and seems to be indiscriminately slaughtering thousands of innocents for the whole world to see, with little or no justification People slaughtered queuing for food and water at Humanitarian aid stations. Hospitals bombed And the Israelis rattle out the same old tired lies and excuses after every such event. Netanyahu has played Trump for the fool he is. Now this with Iran could tip things over the edge into the full scale war I spoke of earlier. And the scenario re the body bags The UN cannot broker peace which has to include a 2 stare solution, if Israel backed by America do not agree
