My mom likes crocheting. Sometimes I will send her some nice crochet images so that it will give her new ideas. Now you can see lately my mom crocheted a doll according to the left image. I have to say that my mom's version is weird

"I have to say that my mom's version is weird". I know you are saying this in a light-hearted manner. Yes the two images are different. But yes there is cuteness overloaded in both of them. Even though your mom hasn't copied the crochet as it is, what she has made also looks quite lovely.
