Please can anyone help with a problem I have which I never had before, but first noticed I had the problem last night when I was posting on here.
So here it is -;I use my mobile phone on here
Was trying to copy and paste a link to a post dept I was doing and it didn't work. Over the years I have copy/ pasted hundreds and hundreds of links. I thought it might be a glitch. So I tried again a few minutes ago.
Omg it did t work
Highlight link
Select press copy
Go to post reply
Press paste, nothing at all , zilch
I must be getting old or going nuts
I was doing it right, wasn't I?

I have done it for years.
And all of a sudden it is not working
It seems a setting has changed but I did not change it.
No apos have that permission

Yes
And used Gemini.
Gemini suggested the phone settings settings for copying stuff to clipboard
But Gemini like me drew a blank trying to find the settings
I cleared cache on browser
Couldn't find the browser settings either

@Ineeddentures I do know you can't do a picture and a link at the same time. I have had to edit my post to add the link when I have a photo too

Yes Eva it should have worked
But it didn't
Nothing on clip board either even after I selected the text I wanted to use..
Might download a clipboard app, make it default and disable the system pp.
I will find it

It sounds like it might just be a temporary glitch or something odd going on with your phone. Try copying and pasting in a Notes app or message to see if it works there. If it doesn’t, it might be a clipboard issue.
