We were told to carry a formal outfit with us for that Bahamas cruise as there would be a formal dinner with the Captain of the ship on the final day
It was indeed a memorable cruise, getting in and out of the ship visitng islands, etc.
The dinner was formal and we all individually met the captain. We also individually posed for a photograph with the Captain
We thought we would all be given tha photo as a memento but we had to buy it and I did not For me those 10 dollars had more value than owning that photograph

I would not have bought the photo either.
I mean come on, 10 dollars!? For a picture with Captain Boatboy.
If he had been famous, then maybe.

@Ineeddentures We did not know they were charging. If we knew that I do not think anyone would want to pose.

Not surprising
10 dollars wow for a photo with a guy in a captain's uniform
Why were they charging for a photo anyway

That sounds like a wonderful experience overall.. cruises like that really do create special memories. Sometimes the memory is worth more than the souvenir.
