The 'terrible two' tot wants to go to school

My grandkid wants to go to school already. At 2.5 years, he is eager to learn about colors, read the alphabet, listen to stories, and count from 1 to 10. This is the same tot that I have mentioned before, who had tantrum attacks. I think it is still early for him to attend school, so I will just create a "class" at home and attend to whatever he can create. What age would you allow a kid to attend a kindergarten class?

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Pretty didn't know the difference. She was at a "learning center" after we potty trained her at 1 1/2 years old anyway.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Wow! That's wonderful. I will think about it. The older ones got tired of school right away, that was why I am considering of delaying his schooling.

In India 2.5 kids do go to play schools. You are doing something right by creating a classroom. This will bring some discipline in him.

What age would you allow a kid to attend a kindergarten class? Well I wouldn't put a number on it . It actually sounds to me that your grandson would probably enjoy the socialising with the other kids and his learning curve could really take off. So I say if they are ready, want to do it, give it a try

I don't have children; but I would let them go to school once they were potty trained if they had an interest in learning.

same attend kindergarten here even at 6months old. maybe you should take him to one, if it's not too expensive.
