What a difference a day makes

Yesterday they were just buds. Today, they are these lovely day lilies. And tomorrow, they'll probably be all closed up. They certainly live up to their name.
And yes, they ARE day lilies, not tiger lilies. Tiger lilies have dark green leaves that come off the flower stalk, not from the bulb. Tiger lilies also have dark freckles on the petals.

Mine are dormant and I really do not know why They normally bloomed around February each year.
