First responders rescue a kitten who was inside of a storm drain in Alabama

Thanks to the teamwork of the Southside Fire Department and Southside Police who answered an emergency call about a kitten that was inside of a storm drain in Southside Alabama on Wednesday June 25.
The kitten was rescued by the teamwork of the firefighters and police officers happened on Wednesday morning.
What happened to the kitten after it was rescued is not known other than the kitten was likely taken to an animal shelter to be taken care of and placed up for adoption.

I wonder what the kitten was doing wandering around in storm drains by itself, perhaps it was abandoned there, by a bad owner.
