I had an odd experience this morning. I thought I was eating a breakfast hot pocket with egg..but it turned out to be some kind of pizza turnover. They looked identical. Sadly, I have to take most things in the freezer out of their boxes in order to fit them in there. ever since my little freezer bit the dust I have been using only one freezer, and it is always overpacked. Although I hate to spend the money, I think I am going to have to get another small freezer. This stuff is for the birds. Do you have a freezer?

That sounds like a good idea. Why didn't you keep one of the ones you had?

I have the freezer in the fridge and a big chest freezer. I have given away a lot of the meat to cousin #2. I have no way to cook it.

@snowy22315 I don't like to waste food. She even got a lobster tail that my husband had bought.

You probably aren't as into food as I am.

@snowy22315 I don’t have room for one even if I needed one. There just isn’t room. I do wonder how big other people’s fridge/freezers are. Mine seems unusually small. I’m way taller than it is. I realize I’m tall, but should I be that much taller?

@AmbiePam Those older basic fridges did just have small compartments.

Only the small freezer above the fridge.

@snowy22315 I pack it like a jigsaw puzzle... It's enough for two weeks at a time.

We have a chest freezer and an upright. Plus the small one above the refrigerator

My parents have two freezers too, although the irony is that they don't eat or cook much anymore. I bet there is a Thanksgiving turkey or Christmas ham in there though for someone who wants to cook it.

@snowy22315 Hubby used to deer hunt but hasn't for a few years. But we do often get a half beef

I must admit, I do like the ice maker in mine. I wouldn't want to go back to using the trays.

It's good fun pushing the bottom of the tray on the rubber bits to get the cubes out though

@snowy22315 The big ones are too difficult to keep filled, and they do run more efficiently when they are 75% full.
