Police officers in Orleans Massachusetts answered an emergency call when a hog escaped from its pen on Thursday morning of this week.
The name of the hog starts with the letter P managed to flee from the Orleans police officers when they chased the hog until Orleans Police Sergeant Cronin used a cracker to catch the hog and return P back to its owner safely the same day.
Hopefully the owner of the hog will make sure that the pen will have a larger fence to avoid hogs from running away again.

An escaped hog often hogs the limelight, and Police department resources are being lead away from better usage by these escaped animals. Perhaps, a fine will be levied at this owner, as it is done with stray dogs, and cats, here.

I'm glad they were able to return the piggie back to his owner.
