Just started Dinner.

You might wonder why at 11:35 in the morning I am telling you that I am starting dinner. Well it's because it's Sunday and when I did the grocery order the other day I planned ahead and bought a pork roast kit. I decided to throw it in the crock pot so that we could have dinner around six pm tongiht.
It came with a 2ish pound roast, carrots, potatoes, celery and onions as well as a seasonig packet. I of course added garlic cloves and some Lawrys. Because Lawrys goes on everything.
I'll report back when it's done.

We sometimes can get veggies as a pack but I’ve not seen it with the meat too. Looks yummy…enjoy

If you tell me what you paid, what the cut was, and what the weight was, I could at least "decide." I have never found one of those all-in-one packages cheaper. Not saying that wasn't the case for you. I'm just saying it's never been the case for me.

I had a small pork tenderloin in the freezer. The son spied it yesterday and asked if we could have it today...with potatoes and gravy, of course. So, I seasoned and browned it, carmelized some onions, made a mushroom sauce/gravy, and it's in the crockpot. The potatoes are cooking. He is happy. It's too heavy of a meal for me, but hey...I am just glad he thinks it smells good and is waiting for it to finish cooking!

I ate some of the meat, it was really lean, and really good. He's happy that there is enough left for him to eat tomorrow!
