How old was the daughter and if both were adults was one drunk?

The age of the couple was not mentioned. Disney cruise officials have no idea if the female was drunk or sober.

I heard this earlier, a miracle the little girl survived. Most often if someone goes overboard on a cruise, they don't make it.

@MarieCoyle I remember a Batman cartoon that played on Fox Kids where The Joker told one of his enemies that he can be killed via the impact from the landing instead of the flight.

@Deepizzaguy Many people do not realize that falling from a long way to hit a body of water is forceful, and often deadly. In my case, I think I would die of fright on the way down! Can you imagine what you would be thinking as you fell? Utter shock!

@Deepizzaguy Many times the distance from one of those top decks, etc. to the water is a long, long way down. Even lethal.

I read that the dad set her on the handrail, and she fell. So he better have jumped in. I really hope that wasn’t true. Either way, it’s a miracle they are both alive.

@Deepizzaguy I don’t think he meant for her to fall; I think he was just way too careless.

I know that it takes a lot of courage to dive into the ocean from four stories high.

They are SO lucky to have survived. It was very possible that no one would have even known that they were overboard.

Faling four stories to the water below can either bones or even kill someone on impact.

@LindaOHio That is true since I have taken rides on roller coasters and the falling down on the roller coaster is very scary.

Kids need to have rules and be supervised while on these huge ships. That is very scary.

The young girl was posing for picture near the rail when she fell down according to another My Lotter named Jimlos Tatooth who shared what happened on this site.

I've been on 49 cruises and it's nearly impossible to just "fall" off of one.

It is very rare for anyone to fall overboard a cruise ship other than jumping off a boat on purpose.
