Animal control officer removes a peacock who was on a golf course

The Thornton Police Department responded to complaints who were playing a round of golf at the Todd Creek Golf Course when a peacock was seen on the golf course that was interrupting play.
One animal control officers with the Thornton Police Department picked up the peacock and relocate the peacock away from the golf course safely and humanely.
How did the peacock get onto the golf course is not known.

I have seen a few Peacocks and I don't think it would have walked very far

Peacocks seem to have a way of getting out of enclosures and venturing out into the world.

So am I happy that the peacock was removed from the golf course in an humane way by the animal control officer.

Was it an unwelcome spectator, or a participant chasing the balls, or just a distraction to the players. I guess it was good to remove it, as a ball could have hit it.

A golfer could by accident hit the peacock had the animal control officer not removed the animal from the golf course.
