What a nice time at the pool

I spent about 3 hours over at the pool this afternoon when the sun finally came out. A pool buddy stopped by and her 4 year old daughter basically told me that I had to go over there with them. The lifeguard was an adult which seems to be the theme this summer. Very strange as they usually are teenagers. Anyway he asked to see my pass and I was like "nope I still haven't been given one though I've paid. First the laminator was broken and now there is no ink for the printer." I told him that I had just spoken to the complex manager and he could confirm that I was good with her. He apologized which wasn't necessary. I wasn't mad. It was a nice few hours. I barely looked at my phone and didn't touch the book I brought to read because I was busy talking to my pool buddy. There is nothing better than soaking up the sun IMO. It is supposed to be hotter tomorrow but sunny so I will be back over there.
