What Advice Would You Give Your 18-Year-Old Self?

If you could go back and talk to your 18-year-old self, what would you say? I think I’d say: “Stop worrying so much about what people think. Take more chances — it’s okay to fail.” It’s wild how much you learn with time. So now I’m wondering… What advice would you give your younger self if you had the chance?

It’s okay not to follow the path everyone else expects. Make your own, be your own. You do not need to rush things, you will get there

I would tell my 18 year old self, "You're much too young to get married!" But that was 59 years ago, so it worked out, lol.

I would have used different terminology. "Don't give a damn." It would have saved me a LOT of trouble in life. It wasn't something I learned until later in life, and once I stopped giving a damn...life got way better. lol

i would tell myself never to sell out. Never to be a sneaky poor excuse of a man. Always to be .brave in the face of adversity. Not to envy anyone, or covet what anyone else has To be honest And to respect those who deserve.to be respected Finally I would say " You will meet a fine woman in about 20 years, don't blow it"
