I had been busy with various visitation of my mother last month. And some of my other grandchildren invited by my daughter to stay for a week to visit with their cousin's also. Therefore I had not been able to use my laptop a lot. My grandchildren had left a week ago today. The next day after they left I opened my laptop to come here to myLot but there was this page saying different ways to get back to the sign in page. But it never happened. Even after I turned the device off and on! I decided to call the support place I signed up to when I ordered my laptop computer. Of course I called and turned on the laptop to explain to the person what I was seeing on the screen and I had to hang up the phone because it came on to the sign on page! I replied to my notifications and was interrupted and had to close the computer. I turned it back on today and there was a strange pattern across the screen! I knew I couldn't call again because the office would be closed because of the holiday. I left the device on feeling frustrated and 4 or 5 minutes later the sign in page came on again. It let me sign in and come to myLot!!!!!!!!! Then in the corner of the screen was a black pop up saying that I could pick a time for an upgrade. So, I don't know We'll see what happens!

I hate when that happens. My laptop is getting old; and I fear I will have to replace it soon.

@LindaOHio I love Dell's. This one is a refurbished one I got in March. I couldn't afford anything else.

@dfollin I've always had Dell laptops. They last about 5 years or a little more.. My desktop is pushing 10 years now. The only other computer I've had fairly recently was a Toshiba; and I had to retire that one early because it was having problems.

Can I ask what upgrade the pop up was referring to?

I have no idea what happened. Technology is a mystery to me …..at least you have been able to get back on here though , so that’s good news.
