It’s that time again -- mosquito season!
I had no choice but to fully cover my legs today. Long pants, socks, and even a shawl draped low. Those little bloodsuckers were out for war, and I wasn't about to be their buffet. Sometimes fashion has to take a backseat to survival!
I hate being a mosquito magnet.

For some reason mosquitos don't go after me. I don't remember the last time I had a bite. Long pants should do the trick.

My daughter went to a place with mosquitoes. She put sprays on her body but forgot to do it on her toes. The mosquitoes ATE her toes.

Same here! I'm always glad for sprays, lotions and tablets that let me go out of the house wearing only shorts, tank top and sandals... I get too hot to cover up and mosquitos LOVE me if I forget to put lotions and sprays on before going outside!
When I was young, my friends invited me to outdoor parties because the mosquitos would attack me and leave everybody else alone... *sigh*

@rakski Yeah, they'd all say "I'm sorry they're attacking you!" while enjoying the mosquito-free space around me.

You’re not the only one! But honestly, I can’t stand being fully covered — I’d be hot and sweaty in no time. Pants are tolerable, but beyond that? No thanks! Luckily, there are other ways I can protect myself without sacrificing comfort. I just have to be consistent and a little diligent about it. I always have mosquito repellents with me — patches, lotions, sprays — whether I’m at home or out and about. So far, they’ve been doing the job.
Even inside the house, we barely get mosquitoes, but we still have our mosquito killer lamps, electric swatters, and even diffusers and plug-ins — just to be safe.

Looks like they are bothering you when you are out somewhere. At home I am sure you have protection We do not get affected when we are out

So as here in India, in this monsoon season mosquitoes are trying to build the kingdom and make people sick.

Remove their place of breeding like stagnant water, change water on the vase, declutter and spray mosquito repellant. That could be possible of getting rid of pesky noctural insects.
