I guess I have heard of things like this as well as making wedding dresses out of toilet paper and such things, but a contest sponsored by duct tape brand Duck tape to create prom dresses has been going on for several years. The winner gets a 15,000 scholarship. I guess that helps to reimburse them for all the tape they had to buy to make the dress..Ha, Ha. Anyway, pretty cool. I had no idea duck tape came in so many colors did you? There is a problem with the link, but you can google Duck tape stuck at the prom to view the dresses.

@snowy22315 I keyed in the link and looked at the gallery. Please don't roll your eyes but I'm guessing you can buy the tape in different colours or is it just used to 'connect' the materials?

I don't think I would like a dress made out of duct tape
