I Had Not Expected It

Here we are having cloudy days for more than a week. But we don't have rain Clouds cover the sky and that's all.
Today was not different. I shut the store and decided to see my friends. The sky was heavily clouded.
I stepped out of my house. But hardly had I covered half a kilometer when it suddenly started raining heavily.
I turned back and ran as fast as I could to reach my house. But within a minute or two I got completely drenched
Now I've changed my cloths and am writing this post.

@rakski Of course, it was great and surprising. And I was not alone Many people were running for a cover. It was quite unexpected.

It's so unpredictable that you can expect anything anytime. Now also it is raining heavily.

Nobody knows. Today in the evening it rained and soon turned into a heavy downpour. Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow.

It always happens! When you least expected things it comes when you are not really ready, lol! It happens to me all the time. I always bring umbrella but rain never came and the moment i forgot it. I promise you heavy rain just poured out! ????

I thought there would be no rain as usual. But it rained and rained heavily for the whole night And I was not the only one who was caught by rain unawares, there were many who were running for cover.1 person likes this

Mother Nature was having some fun, teasing you with clouds and no rain. 
At least you knew when you got rain.

We were yearning to for rain. Everyday we were having cloudy days. Clouds would cover the sky and get dispersed. But yesterday what happened was unexpected. It rained and it rained heavily. I was caught unawares and ran for cover. By the time I got home, I was completely drenched.1 person likes this

@Shivram59 I bet Mother Nature was laughing at you. 
We've been having days like that, too. Lots of stormy looking clouds but no rain... We had one day of rain last week and then just cloudy skies again... The forecast says we'll get rain again Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday... I guess we'll see what happens.

@DaddyEvil Today also the sky has been cloudy, but we have not even had a single drop of rain. I keep my store shut on Sunday and hang out with my friends. I didn't go anywhere today, though my friends did everything to convince me that there would be no rain today. I don't like to carry an umbrella with me as it seems like an extra burden

It's not much fun getting caught in a heavy rain when we away from home
Getting wet clothing off quickly is good though.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX But fortunately the river in my town is 10 kms from my house. The flood water doesn't reach our town.

Almost the same situation here Almost half of India is inundated.
