Praying for a Gully Washer

Yeah, the bit of a rain storm we got here was barely enough to do a thing around here. I'm never happy am I? Nope! This is so rediculous. When I was a young girl we used get some rather warm days but, at the end of the day we would get a good cloud burst and enjoyed watched the thunder and lightning from the back door window. We really need a good gully washer. It's so dry here. I used to go spend time with my BFF in Oklahoma. Now they got hot weather. It was triple digits there every day. I had to take Allerest every day just to be able to breathe. It was awful. Can you tell that I am not into heat? I used to go lay in the sun and get a tan. I used to help my grandmother in the garden in mid-summer. I had one of my own for several years. But, nowadays I cannot handle the heat. I can feel my body sizzling and my room is like a dry sauna. Water. Now there's a broad stroke. Iced tea with lemon, water with lemon, and water with ice. Come on now. There's a little breeze out but not much. The heat slowly climbs. Ugh!
