I Can't Sleep.

It's 4am and here I am wide awake while the rest of the world seems to be peacefully dreaming. I’ve tossed and turned, drank warm water, and even scrolled through my phone until my eyes got tired—but still, sleep won't come.
My brain won’t shut up. Thoughts are racing like they’ve got somewhere important to be. My body wants rest, but my mind is on overdrive.
Anyone else ever find themselves stuck in this late-night limbo? What do you usually do when sleep refuses to cooperate? I'm tempted to make coffee by now.
For now, I guess I’ll wait for the sun to rise. Maybe then, sleep will finally sneak up on me.

Late night Limbo
Was made for Jimbo
I know exactly what you mean
Coffee is my go to every time
And that can make me more alert
Hope you get some sleep soon

To sleep
Or not to sleep
That is the question

When I have trouble falling asleep, I close my eyes and picture the color black in my mind and don't let myself think about anything except the color black... The next thing I know, I'm waking up several hours later.
I really hope you fell asleep.

@rakski I usually fall asleep in a few minutes doing that. I hope it works as well for you.

You sound like me, Often when I cannot sleep my brain won't stop thinking, So I imagine it having an on/off switch and try to turn the thoughts off so I can sleep,

There are times for me too when I just can’t sleep — at all. Morning comes and I’m still wide awake. I’ll still try to get some sleep, even when the sun’s already up, but it just doesn’t happen. Then, eventually, I’ll manage to catch some sleep the following night.
I’ve gone through days — sometimes one, sometimes two — without any proper sleep. It’s honestly the worst feeling ever. And the more I try to force myself to sleep, the harder it gets. It turns into this exhausting cycle where sleep feels impossible the moment I start overthinking it.
It’s been like that for years now. My sleep would finally go back to normal for a few months — consistent, steady — and then suddenly, it happens again. No matter how much I try to establish good sleep patterns or stick to healthy habits, there are always phases when it all falls apart.
I still go through those sleepless nights. It feels like a cycle I keep coming back to, no matter what I do.
