Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 80 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. I have the windows open and the AC off.
I can't say that I've done much of anything today. I napped for a few hours this afternoon which means that I didn't make it over to the pool. I am not beating myself up about it. I'll get there tomorrow *I hope*. It is still early summer and I am just trying to relax and catch up on rest.
No big plans for the evening. I need to refresh the sourdough starter. I also want to get started on the ice cream that my neighbor requested. It is custard based so it will use up some of the egg yolks. I will have to make an angel food cake with all of these egg whites that I am accumulating.

I envy the temperature you are enjoying. I am spending a lot on gas to heat a bit my house.

I took a lovely short drive up to Scottsburg, Indiana. I napped and had dinner. Prayer, Bible study, soak in the tub. Usual things.

I've done the washing after being away but it's a rainy day today so I have clothes on the airer. We have the heating on and they dry inside by tomorrow.
