Thanks to the teamwork of the South Metro Fire Department, Douglas County Animal Control and construction crews with the Fiore & Sons Inc who rescued a male dog named Carl who had escaped from his foster home on Sunday June 22 and Carl managed to get trapped inside a trench in Parker Colorado.
After the teamwork from the firefighters, construction workers and animal control officers were complete, Carl was taken to animal hospital to be treated for mild dehydration on Monday June 23.
Carl was taken to his foster home called Big Dogs Huge Paws on Tuesday. The good news is that Carl is healthy after he was rescued by the authorities.
How did Carl get loose from the foster home is not known.

Teamwork is a great thing.
Where would Carl be without it

Carl would likely be deceased had the rescue team not rescued him.

My former husband (now deceased) was a firefighter trained in trench rescue. It's very complicated

I am thinking that Carl is a bit sorry he escaped after such an ordeal.

He must have dislike his foster home or have something in mind to go out. Not sure which is which through.
