Good day to you all. Hope the day is going well for you. Last night I decided to make some bean burritos, something a little different for me. Not something I would normally eat but it was cheap and didn’t turn out badly. I certainly wouldn't say it was very good, but I will have to improve on it next time. See the photo, that’s what it looked like when done. I used refried beans, rice, salsa, cheddar cheese, black olives, and shredded lettuce. I also wrapped in flour tortillas, maybe I should have used corn tortilla instead? I will have to see what else I can use or maybe take something out of it. Do any of you have suggestions on how or what I can do to improve this recipe?

Not what I would call my favorite, that's for sure, but it was something different for me.

Maybe use Mexican cheese in place of cheddar a few strategically placed jalapenos if you like them, or avocado would be good.

yeah, I used the cheese I had on hand so might have to try that next time and avocado does sound like a good thing to add, thank you.

@Bensen32 Welcome, enjoy..you could even add little pieces of lime..primarily as a garnish, but you could squeeze alittle of the juice in it.

When it comes to burritos, I prefer flour tortillas. Yours look very good. We were still camping, and I made Italian sausages on the grill and had a couple of sides we got at the Schnuck's store in town. Good eats.
