It’s Sunday and that means …..Roast dinner day.

So for our Sunday lunch today we had roast chicken…..my favourite….with roast potatoes, cauliflower, sage and onion stuffing and gravy. For pudding we had stewed apple and custard. All very yummy. We do have loads of apples on our tree but they won’t be ready for eating for several weeks yet. What did you have for lunch today ?

It’s just the Paxo one. When we make ‘balled’ stuffing that is an old family recipe and so much nicer ….bit tricky with one arm and we have run out so have to make do at the moment.

It's still way too early to eat lunch here... It's just 10:30 am... I usually eat lunch around 5 pm and supper around 10 pm. I'm glad you enjoyed your lunch. Roast chicken sounds good, though.

@Traceyjayne I usually let Pretty pick what we eat and she'll be asleep until right around 4 pm... I usually go back to sleep until sometime in the afternoon and then fix lunch.

I’ve never had a treacle scone. I love salmon but sadly nowadays it makes me ill.

It would be nice having your own apples to enjoy.
