Employees of the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control (MADACC) answered an emergency call from residents when a sheep as seen running on Forest Home Avenue on Friday morning June 6.
After the animal control officers caught the sheep on 23rd and Rogers, the sheep was taken by a transportation van to a MADACC facility when the officials had to place the sheep who weighs are 200 pounds had to be taken to an outdoor space since the sheep was too huge to fit inside the facility.
The sheep is now being taken care of at an Ozaukee County farm where MADACC officials believe that the sheep fell off a trailer that was passing through the city.
The MADACC officials are hoping that someone will pick up the lost sheep or the farm will adopt the sheep as their own.

Oh isn't he a handsome sheep.
A bit unlucky to fall off of a truck
But lucky he could still run
Wonder if he was on his way to enter the food chain
