I Made a Mistake.

Yes, I made a mistake of trusting the weather forecast.
We now have very dark gray skies and it is starting to rain.
Second load of laundry is now in the dryer,
I had hoped to get everything washed, dried, and folded while the sun was out, but nope, Mother Nature had other plans.
I should’ve known better not trusting the forecast.

Even we need to dry out our clothes indoors. But because the wet or half dried clothes don't get direct sunshine they either don't dry out entirely. Or they still keep smelling weirdly. So we need to do the laundry work again, if the faul smell doesn't stop.

Ya you said Mother Nature. Those who predicted the forecast are the children of the Mother Nature. No one can accurately predict the weather, so we call it weather "forecast". It's just an assumption that such and such thing will probably happen.
In a nearby city last year, they had given red alert for that particular area. Red alert means the highest amount of possible rainfall considering those particular days. As the weathermen gave out the red alert, the local administration declared school and college holidays for that particular day. And believe me or not the sun was shining brightly on the very day when they expected the rains to pour down.
This particular incident had become the talk of the town and everyone enjoyed it. They discussed the entire situation laughing and mocking.

@abhi_bangal we experienced that too before when the city Mayor announced suspension of classes because of the anticipated rain and storm but the sun shined brightly the whole day

At least you have a dryer so can finish your laundry. Things happen we don't expect but we have backup plans when that happens.

Ah well, should i say not a big deal — you can always dry them somewhere though. And honestly, nothing in this world is ever guaranteed, especially the weather forecast. You should know better than to trust that 100% anyway. LOL.

I gave away my dryer to my eldest daughter 20 years ago. So I only wash when it is sunny.

When I lived in NYC so long ago I never worried about the forecast because on every street corner in NYC guys sold folding umbrellas, Many of them I also forgot going home on the subway,

You know that most of the forecast is the opposite of the result. But with the laundry i think a fab conditioner can help to make it smell so good even without drying outside. God bless.
