The Strange Story of a Wife

Dear friends, I'm going to tell you a strange tale, and I hope you will read what I have written. I was sitting in the bar when I found a fellow officer sitting and sipping his whiskey. We were alone in the bar, and I decided to say hello to him. During the conversation, I asked him what his problem was He smiled and said it is a problem, and at the same time, not a problem. I could not understand what he had said, and I asked him. He replied that his wife was in the habit of spitting on him and also referring to him as a pimp. He also told me that he was a senior officer and had been tolerating this for a long time, for many years, for that matter. I told him that he had made a mistake, for either he should have taken his wife to the psychiatrist, maybe she needed psychiatric treatment, or if she was normal, then probably she hated him for whatever reason, and it is best to part company. He smiled, shook my hand, and said," Thank you, but everything is not as simple as you say." He left and I understand he was transferred out to another station and I've never met him after that I don't know what to make of what he told me.
