Antioch Animal Services which is located in California mentioned on social media that about 60 cattle were set loose at a farm close to Gentrytown Park on Sunday June 8 around 2am local time.
Thanks to the teamwork of the animal services, local residents, Antioch police officers worked together to round up the majority of cows and return them to the farm where they escaped.
Whether the cows were released on purpose or not is still a mystery. So far none of the loose cattle were harmed by humans.

Well social media said that they were set loose so I am guessing it was done on purpose
Glad none of them were harmed

Most likely the cows were released on purpose.

They were probably looking for someone to milk them or running after a handsome bull

That's a lot of cattle. I'm glad most of the cattle have been returned.

That's a lot of cows to round up, and it would have cost a lot of resources to do so. I wonder if they sent a bill to the farmer who owned them, as he perhaps needs to learn a lesson not to allow his cows to escape like that.
