The fashion conscious will have a tough time gettng rid of clothes that are no longer in fashion
They will have to have a budget to go for new clothes whenever they become trendy.
They have a choice to retain those clothess that are no longer in fashion as fashions come back.
Which fashions would you want to come back so that you can wear those clothes that are dumped in your wardrobe somewhere ?
I too would like some fashions to come back but never those bell bottomed pants.

I never think about fashion when I buyy clothes. I just want something that fits me.

I wear bike gear.
I wear joggers
And big well worn boots
I even wore bike gear taking Yvonne for her birthday meal

I always enjoyed dressing elegant, but never cared about fashion. I still wear clothes that I bought years ago, no need to buy anything new. I got rid of several dresses because I do not go out in the evening anymore. Why to keep those too elegant things?

Thee days clothes do not wear out easily. I have mine years old too. Since you no longer go for those formal evening outings good you gave those clothes away

@allknowing I also donate several pairs of high heel shoes, I prefer more comfortable shoes now.

That is obvious that we will wear what we like but when what we like is also fashionable that surely will make us more comfortable.
