Do you remind yourself that nothing is permanent?

Sometimes when things feel overwhelming, I try to sit with the thought:
“Nothing is permanent.”
It sounds so simple — but it helps. Whether it's a tough emotion, a hard day, or even a season of waiting… it's comforting to remember that nothing stays the same forever. Things shift. We heal. The fog clears.
Short reminders like this can be surprisingly grounding - speaks volumes and sometimes its all we need to hear when things get heavy.
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Impermanence, as Buddha teaches, reminds us that clinging too tightly to anything, whether good or bad, is the root of our suffering in life. We must recognize that everything will eventually pass, whether we want it to or not, which is why it's important to let go of anything that holds us back and prevents us from moving forward.

My thought here is more on the perspective that I like thinking that no matter how heavy things feel right now, it won’t always be this way. Just because nothing is permanent. Life moves in cycles, and remembering that helps me focus on the positive, keeps me centered, and brings comfort.

@pitsipeahie Both the good and the bad are covered by it. The things we dislike will also pass, so we should be grateful for what we currently have. Enjoying what you have now is the only thing you can do because you can't hold onto anything. You can only enjoy and hold onto what you currently have; you cannot hold onto anything else.

@pitsipeahie Choose one that buoys you up. It's your choice, no one can do it for you. Hence, choose to be optimistic about any seemingly 'unfortunate' event.

Some situations are already tough—but the way we think about them can make them even harder. That’s why your mindset can either carry you through or weigh you down even more.

Yes, especially when i am stuck in the traffic. Lol!
But in that reality, i think the hardest is waiting for things to change when we are so desperate for change.

Haha true!
Waiting feels extra long when you're desperate for change — but that's usually when the biggest shifts are quietly happening behind the scenes.

And if it comforts me, maybe someone out there may find comfort in it too. That is why its nice to share something inspiring. You never really know who might need to hear something at the right time.

I think it’s good to remember this , especially when things are not going great. Things will always get better.
